DAM Savvy Online-Live 2 Days Training

DAM Savvy is the complete Train Evolution DDAM learning journey.
Day 1 builds the shared method: folder structure, naming, metadata, versions, access, security, workflow, collaboration and governance.
Day 2 applies those principles through a scheduled, facilitated Training Lab using chaotic inputs, group working, submission, review, EA/EEA/NA requests, promotion, catalog and controlled release.
Day 3 steps back into a guided appraisal and planning discussion covering current assets, stakeholders, readiness gaps, costs, migration preparation, user adoption and future solution direction.

The programme helps participants understand what a formal audit would examine and what must be prepared before content is moved into a new environment. A guided DDAM Portal demonstration may be included where appropriate, but the programme is not an unrestricted product trial and does not automatically include implementation or permanent access.

Scheduled three-day live programmes and a distinct self-paced recorded edition.
Move from DDAM understanding into guided practical application and high-level readiness planning. DAM Savvy helps teams learn the method, practise it in a facilitated Training Lab and assess what must be prepared before implementation or migration.

Best suited for
* Business owners, directors and senior managers
* Department heads and DAM programme leads
* Digital-transformation and change-management personnel
* Governance, compliance and information-management professionals
* Marketing, brand, communications and technology leaders
* Organisations preparing for DAM selection, implementation or migration
* Decision-makers responsible for DAM strategy, governance, investment and long-term adoption

Participants will learn how to:
* Explain requester, contributor, manager, reviewer, Group Admin and release responsibilities.
* Assess whether roles and responsibilities are clear enough for operational DDAM use.
* Identify the information required for complete and actionable asset requests.
* Apply EA, EEA and NA logic: Existing Asset, Edit Existing Asset and New Asset.
* Distinguish request intake, assignment, active work, submission, review, revision, approval, promotion and release.
* Understand that submission is not approval and approval is not official registration.
* Explain how promotion creates an official or requestable asset.
* Apply naming, metadata, version, status and evidence discipline throughout workflow.
* Identify weaknesses in handovers, escalation, review and release control.
* Assess user-training, onboarding, support and change-management needs.
* Identify useful workflow measures such as request completeness, revision frequency, approval turnaround, asset reuse and release accuracy.
* Determine whether the organisation is ready for Growth workflow, managed onboarding or deeper implementation planning.

Readiness outcome
Workflow administration and coordination readiness. Participants can coordinate requests, assignments, reviews, approvals and releases while maintaining role clarity, governance and operational visibility.

Knowledge before technology, practice before scale
DAM Savvy reduces the risk of buying technology before the organisation understands its assets, standards, workflow, users and migration needs. It gives mixed-role teams a shared foundation, practical exposure and a clearer route toward entry-level, managed or full-scale DAM.

Course scope
Course scope:
DAM Savvy helps participants assess broader DAM readiness, governance needs, operating responsibilities and implementation considerations. It supports planning and informed decision-making but does not include a formal consultancy audit, detailed technical architecture, data migration execution, platform deployment, procurement specification, or final implementation budget.

Recommended next step

Progress to:
* A facilitated DAM readiness or discovery discussion
* An organisational workflow, governance or asset-environment assessment
* A guided DDAM Portal demonstration and package discussion where a practical managed solution is being considered
