DAM Skilling 2 Days Training Course

Build the Roles and Workflow That Keep Assets Moving

DAM Skilling is an applied programme for administrators, coordinators, contributors, managers, reviewers and operational users.

The Admin pathway focuses on governance, operating standards, workflow oversight, metadata quality, escalation and accountability.

The Applied pathway focuses on interpreting requests, accepting work, preparing outputs, managing revisions, responding to review decisions, understanding promotion and completing controlled handover or release.

Participants work with EA, EEA and NA request logic and learn the crucial distinctions between submission, approval, official registration and promotion. The course also examines user readiness, onboarding, support, workflow measures and the costs of incomplete requests, delayed reviews, repeated corrections and uncontrolled releases.

DAM Skilling prepares people for structured operations; it does not itself configure a customer portal or provide permanent system access.

Core Theory vs Core Practical

DAM Core TheoryDAM Core Practical
Explains folder structuresParticipants build a folder structure
Explains naming standardsParticipants rename actual files
Introduces metadataParticipants complete metadata
Explains version controlParticipants identify and correct versions
Discusses governanceParticipants follow controlled instructions
Assesses understandingAssesses practical application

Core Theory teaches the standards. Core Practical applies the standards to files and folders.

Strengthen the people, roles, workflow, review and release disciplines needed to operate DDAM properly. DAM Skilling helps admins, contributors, managers and reviewers understand what they own, what happens next and what makes an asset ready for controlled use.

Business Outcome

Participants build the operational skills needed to handle asset requests, assignments, work outputs, reviews, approvals and controlled releases consistently.

The EA–EEA–NA module distinguishes between retrieving an existing approved asset, editing an official asset through control, and creating a new asset through the full production lifecycle.
